The crossover sibling of BMW's Vision Neue Klasse sedan will be unveiled in a few days time
BMW has announced the upcoming debut of another fully electric concept, to be named Vision Neue Klasse X. This SUV model serves as the follow-up to the well-received Vision Neue Klasse sedan unveiled in September 2023, providing a preview of the successor to the iX3, slated for production in 2025. The first official teaser of the concept focuses on its dashboard.
As with the interior, the exterior of the SUV is closer to production status compared to the sedan, judging from the alloy wheels and the plastic cladding. This was also confirmed by earlier sightings of camouflaged prototypes, revealing familiar styling traits applied on a taller body. The production version of the Vision Neue Klasse X is anticipated to replace the fully electric BMW iX3, while a different model will succeed the ICE-powered X3.
