Bobby Brazier had his dad Jeff in tears as he accepted the award for Rising Star at the National Television Awards.
Bobby had been sat in the celebrity audience with his dad, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, 44, and his EastEnders co-star Molly Rainford, prior to collecting the prized trophy at the awards show hosted by comedian Joel Dommett. "This actually has very, very, very little to do with me and everything to do with my dad... over the course of the last 20 years I've consistently heard him say, 'Because I can', it was a mantra or a motto of his, and him just saying that, 'Because I can!' you know, why not?"He went on to thank EastEnders bosses for believing in him when he had "no experience", quipping: "I still don't have a clue what I'm doing, to be honest.
Bobby lost mum Jade Goody when he was just five-years-old after the reality star died from cervical cancer in 2009, aged 27.
