Police Scotland officers are appealing to the public after the body of man was found. The grim discovery was made yesterday afternoon and saw Ballater bridge cordoned off.

Police Scotland said his death is not believed to be suspicious but that officers are treated it as unexplained. The bridge was closed for some time while an investigation was carried out. Officers now want to speak to anyone who may be able to assist them with their investigation, in the hope someone can help them establish exactly what happened.
