Police searching for Liam Miller, 21, who was reported missing from Renton earlier this week, have released a statement following today’s sad discovery.
A body has been recovered from the River Leven as police say the family of a missing man have been made aware.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 9.20am on Saturday, September 7 and made the tragic discovery. A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: "Around 9.20am on Saturday, 7 September, 2024 officers discovered a body in the water in the River Leven."He is still to be formally identified but the family of Liam Miller, 21, who had been reported missing on Wednesday, 4 September, 2024 have been made aware.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
