Very sad news this evening
Ioan Butnariu had last been seen in Blackburn on Saturday . A subsequent missing persons appeal was launched to find Ioan with Lancashire Constabulary concerned for her welfare.
A statement from Lancashire Constabulary says: "A body has sadly been found today in the search for missing woman Ioan Butnariu. Ioan, 20, hadn't been seen since Saturday after going missing in Blackburn. "The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file with be passed to the coroner in due course. Our thoughts are with Ioan’s family at this very sad and difficult time.
