Police have tragically found a body during the search for Mariann, a missing woman from Bolton. A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Remains have been discovered in the search for a missing woman who vanished in Bolton . Mariann, whose surname has not been disclosed, was last seen on Chorley Old Road in the outskirts of the town on December 14 at around 9.30am. For more than a week, police carried out extensive searches and appealed to the public, but there was no trace of the Hungarian national, who spoke little English. Greater Manchester Police revealed they tragically found a body during the search earlier today.
