Emergency services rushed to the scene but the person was pronounced dead
Emergency services were called to Green Lane railway station, at around 11.15pm on Saturday, October 7 after reports a person was on the tracks. Paramedics attended but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police told the ECHO: "Officers were called to Green Lane railway station at around 11.15pm on Saturday 7 October following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
