A body has been found on a path popular for walks in a town. Police were called after reports of a body having been seen close to the Nutbrook Trail in Ilkeston at 9.15am on Saturday, October 15.
At the scene officers found the body of what was believed to be that of an Ilkeston man in his 30s, Derbyshire Live reports. Walkers reported seeing police officers and a cordon in the area of the Nutbrook Trail on the way to Straws Bridge. Derbyshire police have confirmed that there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances in relation to the death. A file is being prepared for the coroner.
