Revealed: The cost of Preston Guild Hall standing empty and the path to re-openingPolice were contacted by the ambulance service shortly before 9am on Tuesday to reports of a sudden death on Bairstow Street, close to Winckley Square.
Officers went to the scene and found the body of a 25-year-old man. Police do not believe there are anything suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.A spokesperson for police said: “We were called by the North West Ambulance Service at 8.49am on 6th August to an address in Bairstow Street, Preston, to a report of a sudden death.
“Officers attended and very sadly found the body of a 25-year-old man. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed in due course to HM Coroner.”Sign up below to receive Blog Preston's email newsletter.
