CAVITE – Authorities found the body of a 24-year-old college student allegedly killed in fraternity hazing in Biñan, Laguna.
The Adamson University student identified as John Matthew T. Salilig was found burried in a vacant lot at the back of a subdivision in Barangay Malagasang I-G on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Imus City Police Station Officer-In-Charge Lt. Col. Michael Batoctoy told the Manila Bulletin that Biñan CPS coordinated with their office to corroborate the statement of a witness.
“Bale siya ang nang-guide kung saan ibinaon ang biktima. Ten days nang nakabaon doon. ,” Batoctoy told the Manila Bulletin in a phone interview.Batoctoy said the victim’s body was taken to a funeral home in Dasmariñas for forensic examination. posted on their Facebook Page on Feb. 28, the administration of Adamson University condoled with the victim’s family and friends.
The statement also says the university is conducting its own investigation and is already coordinating with authorities on the matter.
