The Board of Investments sees the great potential of game development as one of the higher-value segments of the information
BOI executive director Corieh Halili-Dichosa noted the contribution of digital interactive goods and service activities, including game development and animation, at P325 billion in 2022, or more than 20 percent of the creative economy.
She said the BOI was willing to help move the industry to higher levels of growth and achieve its roadmap. The government teamed up with education institutions to implement projects and programs that would prepare Filipino graduates and fulfill the needs of digital industries.
