Goran Pandev reckons fellow Macedonian Bokan Miovski is good enough to follow Ylber Ramadani from Aberdeen to Serie A.

Miovski has netted five goals in seven games for Aberdeen to start the 2023/24 campaign, and looks well on course to at least match last season's tally of 18. He's established himself as the Dons' main man in attack since arriving last summer and is likely to lead the line for his country on Friday as North Macedonia host Italy in Skopje in their Euro 2024 qualifier before they travel to Malta.

And former Napoli, Lazio, Inter Milan, Genoa and Parma striker Pandev - who won 138 caps for his country before retiring at the age of 39 last year - has been impressed with Dons striker Miovski. He said: "I really love Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski. He is playing great in Scotland at the moment and always seems to score goals. And I think he would be fantastic in Serie A as well."

Aberdeen have lost two key players to Serie A in the last couple of years after Ramadani joined Lecce for £1million last month. Scotland international Lewis Ferguson moved from Pittodrie to Bologna in a £3m swoop last year/
