Army bomb disposal specialists were called to a Leeds street after an object thrown into a Leeds house caused a fire.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 1.57am today, police received a report of an item having been thrown through the window of a house in Colton Road, Armley.Read more:Two Leeds men jailed for 34 years after shooting at Pudsey home The spokesman added: "Concerns were raised about the item used and a large cordon has been put in place as a precaution for public safety while Army specialists attend to examine it."
