After it emerged that Mellencamp and Simon Schröeder had a 'months long affair', DailyMail.com can reveal that Schröeder's wife Karli Postel filed to nullify their marriage in 2023 because he was legally married to someone else This comes after an insider claimed to DailyMail.com that the the reality star and Schröeder were fooling around behind their spouses' backs before she filed for divorce.
'Karli didn't tell Edwin when she found out. She was willing to give Simon another chance and stayed with him. But last month, Karli found proof that the affair was ongoing and that it had become"emotional." Just 12 weeks ago she praised Schröeder and Schroeder Sporthorses - a 'Hunter, Jumper and Equitation training, sales and investments show barn' - again and thanked him for the ‘stunning rides.’ Mellencamp had requested primary custody of their three kids with 'reasonable and frequent visitation' for Arroyave in her divorce filing
Her soon-to-be ex-husband also revealed in the latest court documents that they have a prenuptial agreement he wants the court to enforce.
