President Marcos led the welcome ceremony for Czech Republic Prime Minister Petr Fiala in Malacañang as the latter arrived in the country for a three-day official visit. | DYGalvezINQ
After the military honors, Marcos and Fiala proceeded to the Reception Hall in Malacañang where the European leader signed the Palace guestbook.The signing of the Palace guestbook is a tradition among heads of states and other high-ranking officials visiting Malacañang.Marcos will then host an official dinner in honor of Fiala.
The Department of Foreign Affairs earlier said Fiala’s visit to the Philippines is an “important milestone” in the relations between Manila and Prague.
