Benefit fans will be pleased to know that Boots has slashed the price of the iconic Hoola Bronzer by 25% in the sale. Winner of countless beauty awards, the Hoola Bronzer is a matte powder that comes in four different shades and can be used to warm up and contour the skin - you can also find it on offer at Debenhams for £26. With a 'soft, blendable' formula, it can be used to contour the cheeks, forehead and nose - or apply a light dusting all over to add some extra colour to the face.
Many users also sweep the bronzer across the eyes for an easy eyeshadow look. Shoppers can choose between shades 'lite', original, 'caramel medium-deep', and 'toasted deep', with something to suit many skin tones. On the Boots website, the Hoola Bronzer has received an overall rating of 4.6 stars. One shopper wrote: 'The best bronzer! This has definitely been a favourite for years and it's still a solid staple in my makeup bag as well as most people I know!' A second said: 'Best bronzer around... have used this for years always gives a flawless natural glow.' While a third added: 'This is my absolute go-to product! It looks fab in the summer but also gives you that healthy glow in the winter! The matte finish makes it perfect for contouring too. I don't go anywhere without it!' A fourth user Margaret penned: 'This bronzing powder is hands-down the most natural-looking I've used. I have tried powders, gels, liquids...during the summer I get a little colour, and this blends perfectly as powder...during the winter, I'm looking for a little pick-me-up that is still natural-looking and moisturizing. This is it! The size is perfect too, in case I want to throw it into a purse or bag on my way.' Although, Belle called the product 'average', she continued: 'It's not out of this world but its not the worst bronzer I've ever tried. I was so excited to try it after all the hype but for the price you could fine 100's of dupes for half the price. There's nothing different about it compared to your standard ones.' Some shoppers expressed their dismay over the product getting 'smaller' in recent years, Julie said: 'Seems smaller and no longer includes the brush - it’s 8mg of powder.' Alternatively, LookFantastic is selling the Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Bronzer at 30% off, now down to £21 from £30 which also offers a matte finish. Or, Beauty Bay offers a cheaper option with the brand's own Powder Bronzer which is currently down to £5 from £8 at the time of writing
