Boris Johnson pleads with EU leaders to rule out another Brexit extension after accepting three-month delay
BORIS Johnson last night pleaded with EU leaders to rule out another extension - after he formally accepted their offer of a three-month delay.
EU Parliament negotiator Guy Verhofstadt taunted the PM, crowing: “Relieved that finally no one died in a ditch.” His EU minister Amelie de Montchalin said he could “not oppose a postponement of Brexit linked to a democratic clarification like new elections”.
