Nigel Farage's offer of a non-aggression pact with Boris Johnson at the next general election has been firmly rejected.

However, Downing Street dismissed Mr Farage's offer.A senior Conservative source described Mr Farage and his close ally Arron Banks as not being"fit and proper".

"Neither Nigel Farage or Aaron Banks are fit and proper persons, and they should never be allowed anywhere near government," the source said. Mr Farage noted how Mr Banks is not in the Brexit Party, adding:"I do not want a job in government, I just want to put country before party and deliver a clean break Brexit."
