Credit: PA:Press AssociationRees-Mogg, 50, the leader of the hardline Brexiteer ERG group, will now be joining the Cabinet for the first time.
He strongly opposed Theresa May’s handling of Brexit during her reign and will now play a key role in the process moving forward. He told Sky News last night: “The Prime Minister kindly offered me a very interesting job to do, one that is something that I'm very interested in because parliamentary procedure and practice is something I've spent a lot of time on."
