Boris Johnson and Stormy Daniels clash over their views on Donald Trump and so few people are buying it he’s had to go on Channel 4 on US election night to try and flog it. And spare a thought for everyone who pulled an all-nighter to watch the election coverage, because Johnson’s grilling by Emily Maitlis, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and, erm,, while sitting next to Stormy Daniels, was somehow the high point of nearly nine hours of otherwise grim TV election coverage.
Maitlis – to whom I must give a shout out for her cheeky cocktail glass earrings, about the most fun thing about this evening – is always brilliant. And as you will know if you have been listening to her, first on the BBC, and now covering the campaign on The News Agents, seriously knows her stuff when it comes to American politics.
