BORIS JOHNSON emerged from self-isolation for the first time in public as he stood at the doorway of No10 Downing Street to celebrate the NHS as thousands across the UK clapped for carers.
Mr Johnson appeared briefly on the steps of Number 10 to join in, the first time he has been seen in person since announcing he had been diagnosed with Covid-19 last week.For the second Thursday in a row, people across the United Kingdom banged on pots and pans, shouted, clapped and set off firecrackers to show their support for health and care professionals seen as the superheroes of the hour.
