The Boroughs is coming to Netflix and it's not one for Stranger Things fans to skip.
The countdown is on for Netflix's highly anticipated sci-fi drama The Boroughs as its debut draws ever closer. Hot on the heels of Stranger Things' final series, The Duffer Brothers have returned as executive producers on The Boroughs, an eight-episode drama centred on monstrous goings-on at a retirement community.
Despite the obvious generational difference, The Duffer Brothers have revealed to Tudum that The Boroughs shares considerable common ground with Stranger Things. They told Tudum: "While the characters are a little older than the kids in Stranger Things - they ride golf carts instead of bikes - the spirit is very much the same.
"At its core, this is a story about belonging and growing up - no matter your age - filled with adventure, wonder, comedy, scares, and tears. "And most importantly, you're going to fall in love with these characters. " This article contains affiliate links, we will receive a commission on any sales we generate from it.
