The Hoops defender will spend the season with the legendary Hoops skipper in English League One as he looks to get plenty of first-team football under his belt before arriving back at the club next summer
Bosun Lawal has put pen to paper on a three-year extension at Celtic as he joins up with Adam Montgomery at Fleetwood Town.
The 20-year-old has mainly played as part of the Hoops B team in the Scottish Lowland League and picked up experience in the Premier League International Cup. His impressive form landed him a debut earlier this year in the Scottish Cup fourth round triumph over Greenock Morton.
"After putting pen to paper, the defender will now go on a season-long loan to English League One side, Fleetwood Town, managed by former Celtic captain Scott Brown.
