It's important to check the times for your local supermarket before heading out to the shops as not all supermarkets will be opening their doors on Boxing Day.
Some retailers have made the decision to stay shut on Boxing Day to allow their staff some much needed time off to spend with their loved ones over the festive period. The likes of Iceland, Waitrose, Aldi and M&S are all staying shut on December 26 to give staff a well-earned break after a busy year and it seems they aren't the only retailers making that decision.
And those that are opening are running restricted hours so it's best to be prepared. Make a note of these shopping times to avoid being caught out.
