Properties in Edinburgh were also searched as part of an operation in Leith which saw a 15-year-old detained.
Drugs worth £46,000 have been recovered by Police Scotland as part of a series of raids. The force revealed 16 people have also been charged with drug offences following the operation.
Police Scotland said today that the 16 arrested are aged between 15 and 50, and that drugs discovered during the raids include heroin and cocaine. Intelligence led-searches were also carried out under warrant at five addresses in the Edinburgh area. Sergeant Marr of Leith Police Station said: "Removing illegal drugs and targeting criminals who seek to profit from other people’s misery continues to be a priority for us and our communities.
