BREAKING: A 15-year-old has been detained at Birmingham Crown Court after being found guilty of murdering Ian Kirwan in the toilets of an Asda.
A boy has been detained for life for murdering a shopper in the toilets of an Asda store.The software engineer was attacked near the supermarket in Redditch on March 8, 2022, after challenging some boys for ‘messing about’ in the customer toilets.Crown Court was told the victim was knifed in the heart by the boy – then aged 14 – who was acting as a part of a masked gang which ‘terrorised’ the public.Previously, Metro.co.
There, the 53-year-old encountered four boys, aged between 14 and 16, who had entered the store with their hoods up and faces covered.
