There was an altercation between the two at a party
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Northampton last Friday after being chased by a man in a balaclava. Northamptonshire Police are now appealing for witnesses.
The boy was chased by the unidentified man after an altercation between the two at a party inside an address in Beaufort Drive, Duston, on Friday, October 28, between 9.30pm and 10.10pm. The boy ran from the address pursued by the masked man, who caught up with him in Oakleigh Drive. There the man then attacked the boy by stabbing him with a knife. Northants Police said he did not sustain a life threatening or life-changing injury.The suspect is described as a black male wearing a dark balaclava, black puffa jacket, black trousers and a white T-shirt. Police say he was about 5ft 7in, slim and about 18 years old.
A spokesperson from Northants Police said: "Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Northamptonshire Police on 101. Quote incident number 22000630772."
