The boy, also called Benson, just loves the trucks
A boy who just loves seeing Bensons for Beds trucks had his dreams come true - when he was allowed a ride in one travelling to the firm's Lancashire depot.
The youngster began looking for the company’s lorries during family journeys after his older sister, Elodie, nicknamed Eddie, became hooked on looking out for Eddie Stobart trucks. Seven-year-old Eddie pointed out a Bensons for Beds one so her brother wouldn’t feel left out.Benson has now had his dream ride after his parents got in touch with the nationwide bed retailer. The company arranged for the five year old, of Coventry, to visit its distribution centre in Huncoat.
Benson’s birthday whistle stop tour of the Lancashire depot was last Saturday . And as part of it, the lucky youngster got an unexpected ride in a 7.5 tonne type of truck and even got to perch in the driver’s seat to see the view.
