Little boy and sister, 5, drown in dam after they left home to play while parents thought they were napping
TWO young siblings have reportedly drowned to death in a dam after their parents thought they were napping.
Dameon de Vries, 7, and his sister, Kaylie, 5, drowned in a dam on the Vlooikraal farm in the village of Baardskeerdersbos in the South African province of Western Cape.The place where the children are believed to have drownedThe children’s parents Andre and Odete de Vries believed the youngsters were taking a nap when the children woke up and left the house at around 4pm on 19th July - before making their horrifying discovery.
