Two people were arrested after an amber alert was issued for a four-year-old boy, Matthew Brown-Giamarco . Police were looking for the mother, Sierra Brown , and her boyfriend, Taysen Hixon . They said he was last seen on Wedgewood Ave and Eakin.
Hours later, we were at the scene talking to police as Sgt. James Fuqua got the call that 4-year-old Matthew was found safe just a short drive in the Hilltop area from the Wedgewood Avenue area on Dexter Avenue.The mother, Brown, is charged with domestic violence, and Hixon is charged with aggravated menacing.
Both suspects turned themselves in, and Taysen Hixon has been charged with aggravated menacing. So far, it is not known if the mother will be charged.Columbus police say that a 4-year-old boy is an endangered missing child after sending out an Amber Alert on Friday.
