A teenager has died after running away from chaotic scenes which saw ‘fireworks hurled at riot police’ in Yorkshire.
The tragedy followed scenes of chaos on the street on Bonfire Night during which a large group 'hurled fireworks in the direction of police', Yorkshire Live reports .West Yorkshire Police have confirmed the force has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct as officers had been called to deal with a fireworks incident before the boy's tragic death.
