A stolen Porsche Cayenne crashed into a Toyota with police saying the driver fled the scene
A two-year-old boy died after a crash involving a stolen Porsche in Smethwick, in the West Midlands. The tragedy happened in Dartmouth Road shortly before 11pm on Saturday, December 14. A Porsche is understood to have crashed into a Toyota with four adults and a child inside. A two-year-old boy died, and a 29 year old woman and a 30-year-old man are in a serious condition. Another man and woman, both 30, are understood to be in a stable condition.
The crash site is on an industrial estate and the scene was sealed off by police last night while a major response from the emergency services descended on the scene. The cordon was lifted after “specialist reconstruction staff” from West Midlands Police examined the scene. Access is fully restored for motorists today. Responding to the news on social media many local residents paid their respects. Janet Baker said: 'How tragic. My heart goes out to the poor family who lost their little one.
