Pair due in Belfast Youth Court at end of month

The blaze destroyed Greenisland Parish Church of Ireland and church hall on September 1.

In a statement issued on Sunday afternoon, the PSNI said: “Police investigating a fire at a church and church hall in Greenisland on Sunday 1st September, have charged two boys aged 11 and a 10 year old boy with arson. The three boys are due to appear at Belfast Youth Court on Monday 30th September. “As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service. Police are not treating this as a racially motivated hate crime.”
