Elle Dee, a DJ who is based in New York, met Anna Sorokin in New York in 2014. They were in Montauk, a trendy outpost in the Hamptons, and Sorokin slept in a car. Dee said she remembered thinking it was strange behavior from a so-called millionaire heiress.
