Traffic cameras show congestion building as drivers have been warned by Highways North West to 'expect delays' tonight
All traffic has been stopped on the M60 this evening due to a 'police incident'. Emergency services have closed the motorway in both directions between junctions 22 and 23 .
The A6140 Lord Sheldon Way, Ashton-under-Lyne over the M60 is also closed. North West Motorway Police and officers from Greater Manchester Police are at the scene.
