Social media user Chris Lawlor regularly documents his Scottish escapades online – and his most recent discovery is no exception. He explained by following a map, walkers can navigate hidden pathways that culminate in a remarkable vista.
The location in question is Glenwhan Gardens in Dunragit, just 2 hours drive from Glasgow.followers, he explained: "Did you know that in Scotland, there's a place you can walk through that feels like its own little world filled with colourful plants and wooden boardwalks?
"Using a wee map to guide you through the hidden paths and unexpected turns as you make your way up to a viewpoint looking out to the sea before finishing at the tea room for a cake the size of your head. " Visitors can enjoy numerous attractions at the gardens, including the Ornamental Gardens featuring 12 acres of landscaped grounds.
Additionally, the Moorland Walk and Wildflowers section showcases more than 120 species of indigenous flowers, grasses and ferns.
