Brendan Rodgers has a Champions League date with destiny to contend with - but there's been time for a look to the past ahead of Celtic's latest challenge.
Rodgers worked with the mercurial Australian during his first stint in charge as the playmaker wrote himself into the history books as a Celtic legend by winning 16 major trophies across 273 appearances. The Irishman says the announcement is something he totally gets, even if he's slightly saddened by it.
"But knowing Tom as well as I do, I know family meant everything to him. And when you read his script of the reasons why, then I totally understand that.
