The Parkhead boss was put on the spot over the farce at Dens Park earlier this week.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has declared he was led to believe that the Premiership fixtures had to completed before the split - as he claimed Dundee vs Rangers being called off wasn't a "great look" for the league.
In previous years the post-split fixtures have been announced on the Monday or Tuesday by the SPFL following completed weekend fixture card. Last year, the fixtures were announced on a Tuesday. However, clubs will now be made to wait to find out their fate. Rodgers was put on the spot over the farce ahead of the clash with St Mirren and if he felt the competition now faced scrutiny over the integrity of the top flight amid the changes.
"I know speaking to the guys here there has been moments where they have wanted to move the games and they haven't been able to be changed. So, it's unfortunate but it will be something for the league that they have to control."
