Philippe Clement's side play Ross County on Sunday and have a game in hand but Rodgers prefers to be in his own team's position.
Brendan Rodgers says Celtic have come alive at the business end of the season - after stretching their lead in the title race.
“We’re in a really good position and when you know that everything is with you - and you can decide what your destiny is - that’s what you want. That’s why the result at Ibrox last week was huge for us, as well as the performance. Rodgers said: “Reo will be important for us in the run-in. We’ve tried to build him up and he was outstanding at Ibrox.
“Reo had come back a few times and broke down while away with the Japanese squad. So we have to be careful with him. We have to manage him and the likes of Callum McGregor, who had a fantastic cameo today.
