Bids are expected for the striker in 2024.
Ivan Toney is being linked with a string of big clubs despite his suspension Ivan Toney is wanted by a string of top clubs, but despite the level of interest in him, Brentford may be willing to sell for a relatively reasonable £65m. The England international is currently serving a betting ban which means he hasn’t played all season and will not be able to return to the field until the middle of January.
Brentford would obviously like more than that if possible, but with Toney’s contract expiring in 2025 and approaching his 28th birthday in March, they may not quite get the payday they hoped for. Which team will win the race for Toney is far from clear, with Arsenal thought to be reluctant to spend big after an expensive summer in the transfer market. The Gunners brought in the likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and David Raya, which could hamper their spending in January.
