Mrs May has been warned by one of her backbench Tory Brexiteers that if she"continues to apply to extend Article 50" she will be"betraying the British people".She told MPs on Wednesday:"I am not prepared to delay Brexit any further than 30 June."Brussels' chief negotiator Michel Barnier has warned a Brexit delay would not be approved"without a good reason", and urged people to"finalise all preparations" for a no-deal divorce.
