BREAKING: UK economy shrinks in second quarter for first time since 2012
The UK’s economy has shrunk in the second quarter this year, the Office for National Statistics has said. Gross domestic product unexpectedly fell by 0.2 per cent, following a 0.5 per cent advance in the previous three months.
