THE chance of Brexit being extended is “very unlikely” as Article 50 will be dissolved on January 31 making any further requests difficult due to EU law, according to expert Catherine Barnard.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, Ms Banrard said: “The transition period is what we go into on February 1 and at the moment and it’s scheduled to last 11 months.“But it seems to me to be very unlikely that a new Government will ask for an extension straight away.
