It has been hard keeping up with Jacob Rees-Mogg’s position on Theresa May’s Brexit deal. For weeks, as chair of the European Research Group, which represents Tory Brexiters pushing for a harder Brexit, he led opposition to it. Yesterday, in an article in the Daily Mail, he apologised to his supporters for changing his mind. He wrote: I apologise for changing my mind.
