BRIAN Cox has announced he will be back on the campaign trail to persuade his fellow Scots to backThe Dundee-born actor said breaking free from the Union was “more important now than it was in 2014” at the last vote on Scotland’s future.
Asked whether he would be on the campaign trail come the next referendum, he said: “Absolutely, without question. It’s more important now than it was in 2014. We’ve seen how futility-ridden this government is.” Speaking ahead of the Edinburgh premier of She/Her, a play by his director wife Nicole Ansari-Cox, the New York-based actor warned the media in the UK was “moving towards” a US-style situation where all news was “biased opinions”.
