Everton boss Brian Sorensen has told how many emotions he and his team were feeling after beating Liverpool at Anfield to record their first win of the Women's Super League season.
Sorensen said: "The first five minutes losing Lucy , we were a little shaky, we don’t have a direct replacement at the minute because Sara is still out and Elise to play that wingback “Yeah, that was fun", Sorensen laughed post-match. "It was really really nice because it was so hectic in the last minute, they had a couple of big big chances but we sold out and just a lot of emotions.
The victory was not only Everton's third back-to-back win at Anfield, but their first win of this WSL season.
