The bride-to-be wrote: "Partner of 3 years asked me to marry him this morning and gave me a ring that I'd said I'd liked in a jewellers window a couple of months back, it was £15.
"I'm not really into wearing jewellery and am not materialistic so the actual ring has never been a big deal to me! Is this just me?" One person wrote: "She's being daft, you don't need a ring at all for an engagement let alone an expensive one!"Another commented: "Congratulations!!! The price of the ring doesn't count, its what the ring symbolises.
