Bride-to-be urged to burn her 'trainwreck' wedding dress with exposed middle
AS all brides will know, experimenting with different extravagant designs is just part and parcel of hunting down your dream wedding dress.
But while a bridal shop is the perfect place to try on gowns which push you out of your comfort zone, one bride-to-be is being told to "burn" her "trainwreck" of a wedding dress ahead of her big day.Like all great fashion dilemmas, the bride-to-be posted images of her divisive dress on Facebook to ask users for their "opinions on the middle of the dress".
Questioning whether she should cover up her midriff, the woman wrote: "Do I put an inlay in or leave it as is/see through?"where users have labelled the strappy, mermaid tail gown as "universally unflattering".
"It looks cheap, it falls in weird places and it looks like there are pieces that don't actually go together, like they're not part of the same set.""Love your body whatever shape you may come in but please... get it tailored properly!" Meanwhile, others dramatically told the bride to "burn" this "trainwreck" of a design while she still has time.Another urged the bride to get the design 'tailored properly'Taking aim at the mermaid tail trend, a third critic wrote: "This would only ever be flattering on someone 6 foot tall with the body of Elle McPherson."One simply stated: "I've literally never though these types of dresses look good on anybody. Even a Victoria's Secret model.
