Work has begun on the bridge over the M55 near Preston: HighwaysNWEST LancsRoadPolice
North West National highways will carry out the work from Monday 5 September to Friday 9 September .
A spokesperson for National Highways said: “We will need to close the bridge to traffic 24/7 for the duration of the work, A fully signed diversion will be in place which has been agreed in advance with the police and local council.
