Sally Themans respects the decision made by Bridgnorth businesses to reject a Business Improvement District (BID) proposal, despite her support for it. She looks forward to alternative ideas to improve the town.
Sally Themans , who supported the plan, expressed her respect for the decision made by Bridgnorth businesses to not form a Business Improvement District ( BID ). Businesses within the BID area would have paid an annual levy of two percent of their rateable value. The vote was held throughout November, allowing businesses to decide whether a BID would benefit the town. While the public had voiced their opinions, the decision was made by the business community alone.
Themans acknowledges the majority’s choice and looks forward to alternative ideas from the town's business community to improve Bridgnorth during challenging economic times
